As you may have noticed, I didn't do the cover this year. There were 14 submissions in the end and I know it was difficult for some of you to get them in, so I absented myself so I could fit most into the calendar. Leigh who doesn't get much of a chance to visit the site or draw these days sent this in when I was short on submissions.

I can't believe this is what happens after never having the time to work on art. I think it's beautiful and looks amazing as our 2022 cover.

Wooow, Leigh has done a magnificent job! There is so much peace in this! Love their faces and how they work their magic together. Wonderful, wonderful color pallette!
I will miss your art, Maggie, but this is a great cover.

Wow, this is an amazing cover! I love how etheral and almost fae-like Goodtree looks, and the tree connecting her and Redlance. What really caught my attention was the tree in the background, it's so pretty and painterly!

Generations meet at the father tree. Goodtree's and Redlance's hair is shining like a flame amid the other tones. It's funny that both also reflect some green aura of their magic on their skin. Thus the knowledge is passed to next generations. Even though they might not have lived at the same time they seem very connected here.

This is such a wonderful cover! I love Goodtree's skin, she's gorgeous. And the sparkles really add to the "magic" feeling of it!

Eeee I forget to come
Check in on this post ! I about died when Maggie reminded me I had agreed to sum it something. Friends I did this in just a week or two. I run a from home business and have a small human so I forget EVERYTHING! I’m so blessed she chose this to be the cover it made my day, month and year!
