Love, love, LOVE the skylarks in the illo! But, what else would you expect from a bird lover, right? I think you did an excellent job on them, and I am always a fan of pencil work. It seems one can accomplish more depth and contours with pencil than any other media, but maybe that's just my interpretation of it. Still a lovely lady, but I'm most drawn to her facial on the right with her hair down. I just think it is most flattering for her face, but the ponytails are quirky and exude a personality that draws one in.

I agree about the Hair. Pony tails may add to the winged look; but I like her hair down better also !

Oh yes, what a beautiful arrangement! Count me in on the open hairstyle fans. But the pony tails are sooo cool!
