Aroree and Robin
by Czarine
There was a spot in Anondraw between Rillfisher and Rayek that looked like it could fit an Aroree, so I just had to draw her. That's why this is so small.
I like her glider hat design better, but I wanted to give her a happier face, so I picked this less rigid outfit.
Her pose is boring, but I'm too tired to fix it.

Oh sweet flying bumblebee! This is amazing!
I always find drawing Aroree's outfit so difficult, especially her feather collar! Everything looks so effortless and wonderful. Wow! I like her pose, it is very Glider-y! |

Wow! You did this in Anondraw? That's amazing! This is honestly one of the best Aroree illos I've seen; it's gorgeous! I wouldn't consider the pose boring; maybe typical, but it's graceful and you did a beautiful job. Love the robin (red breast?); she seems happy yet lost in thought gazing at it. Again, stunning!

Thanks for the comments! I should draw more Gliders, their designs are fabulous. But maybe a bit bigger next time! The small size of this was challenging.
![]() @Amberfox: Yeah, it's a "redbreast", or "punarinta" as we say in Finland! I can't remember the exact reason I picked that bird for this illo. I think they're cute birds, and I wanted Aroree to feel free to admire the nature around her. ![]() |
