Neela sculpture

I visited Berit last weekend, and I tried a new, weird material to make art! His house is like a treasure trove of obscure art materials...

Anyway, this was some kind of foamy air-dry modelling paste that felt a bit like moist, non-sticky bubble gum, and turned into somewhat marshmallow-like material when dried. It makes for very light-weight statues!

I tried making Neela with it, and I think it turned out pretty good. It was nice to see that markers and acrylics stick to it well. To make the sculpture stronger, I started with an armature and styrofoam base and just smoothed the paste on top of it.

5/5, would recommend it! I just can't remember the paste's name. Maybe Berit can help?

This is adorable Czarine. Are there any mediums you can't master. :D

This is indeed fricking adorable! And the description of working with that material sounds fascinating!
