Sorry for dropping off for several months! Been fighting an art block. Tried breaking it by drawing Little Sun and Pyre in some modern clothes I had planned doing for the zombie au. Used a ref which I modified slightly. Little Sun on the left and Pyre on the right. (I have been laughing over the idea of Little Sun doing a 'call me' gesture for most of the day)

Wasn't too keen on giving Little Sun short hair, but he ended up looking really good.

My idea behind this was some weird incident where they fighting off some zombies and spot other elves heading away from them.

Hahhah! I wasn't sure what was behind that gesture before I read your description! Now it makes sense, and the whole illo looks like a candid photo moment!

Good luck with the art block! I've been too busy to draw anything lately, and I hope to get back on track soon.

That's okay, Nilla; I tend to be a rabid gopher myself: pop up out of nowhere, frantically active, and then vanish. It happens. Hope the art block is easing up.

I agree that the "call me" gesture is hysterical, and he certainly looks like he's ready for that call. I suspect he's eager to get out there and battle more zombies. Pyre looks less eager or enthusiastic, maybe even surprised by the elves leaving them. Nice job with Pyre igniting a zombie! Do you plan to color this? Might help with the art block.
