Nice! I like the composition, the metaphorical as well as the very literal way that Kahvi and Cutter are standing to the side while the tribes are enjoying themselves.

Hehe, it looks a bit like the tribe has a bonfire party, just Kahvi and Cutter have to be sober and sane and have all the responsibility so they can't participate. Both look fairly sad and serious about it. On the other hand... who knows what Kahvi is up to. Maybe she thinks about the poor freezing Cutter besides her. ;-) (and new genes to the pool...)
The colourful elves make a nice contrast with all the white snowy area and the grey skies. |

I really like the way you create shadows on the mountain, inking and hints of color. It adds good dept and looks really good! I also, like Tah-Marien love how the groups they rule is in the focus, not Cutter and Kahvi.

The title seems to focus on the equally burdened leaders ( I adore their identical expressions )- and they are in front - but the composition of the tribe in the middle and as the focus; is just so subtle a reminder that the welfare of the group is always first for a good leader. It gives this picture a boost that the chilly air of January cannot dampen. And what a great way to remind us of family and friends gathering together during the lonely winter months. The crisp line art and cool colors of the mountain peaks make them seem so protective; (mountains and chiefs) like they are stone guardians.

I really liked this one for the start of the year. I feel like we all want to get down to business when a new year rolls around, it's all very serious at first and this conveys that perfectly.

You really have a way with snowy settings and Go-Backs don't you? It's lovely seeing Wolfriders and Go-Backs growing together, Kahvi and Cutter watching quite regally.
