Update 65mm sculpture

Thought I would share an update since Czarine is getting a similar, only digital, sculpture.

I sorta hit a stall for a bit on Goldspice because I didn't think her feet were the right size.  Since she was baked I had to find a clay that I could add that hardened without cooking to make the feet bigger.  Chose P3 Fomula Brown/Aluminum Putty.  She has one coat of paint using the formula from "How to paint miniatures" building up small washed down layers of color.  Once all the painting is done - and we get some sun here- I will take a picture of her outside for the finished photo.

For ChangeStone I found a flexible bake able clay/putty that solved the problem of doing her long braids.  Now as I finish her I have flex and movement as a bonus that will keep the braids from breaking easily. They both stand about 3 1/2 inches high.

Wow, these look great! I really like the anatomy, it looks a lot more like EQ than what can be achieved in Hero Forge. You should make a step-by-step tutorial sometime! ;)

Your teasing, right?   I would Love to show people how to do these in their own style and medium choices, scale and characters.  I just cannot even figure out how to put a picture in the forum.  My computer skills are laughable and crude.

A few people have mentioned a chat room or something like that.  Maybe it would have voice and picture?  I do Teaching Mode better than people mode.  Again -the skill level needed with the computer is scary without a voice to navigate me through.

I would trade lessons with you if we could find a system.   The way you fixed Winnowil's eyes would have taken me a bout a dozen redraws to get right, I need help in the side to side and focus movements on eyes.  Nobody is left on the Site that used to help draw.  I got here too late to take advantage of that gift.  Maybe we could work it out?   You have already proven your patience and needed good humor for the exchange . . . and the talent goes without saying.

Hmm! I don't know if there's a Discord channel for Elfquest, or if one could be made for EQfanart. Though moderating that would require time... But it would be a way to combine voice and text chat, and people do send their images there too. One example is a general art Discord channel called Art Lounge (https://discord.me/page/artlounge), where people can discuss all kinds of art and ask for help with their drawings.

I guess we could make a C/C thread here on the forum for art help? Then anyone could pitch in. :)

EDIT: Even though I don't visit deviantART that much anymore, my Favorites has a collection of tutorials and resources, which might be of help. https://www.deviantart.com/czarine/favourites/1320552/Tutorials-and-Resources

OMG! This is so amazing! The anatomy and details! The movement and beauty! I really don't understand how people can work clay and other molding stuff so well. Gorgeous! Please keep the pictures coming!
