I'm currently working a fic that started out with Crescent not dying and I just finished a part where a specific rockshaper gets another chance at life and wrecks an entire troll kingdom.
(The glider in the background is a spirit named Stormfire who's mainly there to gloat over the destruction of the Northern trolls and their kingdom.)
