Sorry that there has been so much wolf stuff! I just got inspired after seeing the wild pack that roams near here... though this wolf I drew is of sub-species that does not live here... And yeah, looks darn goofy! I was put into an empty room to wait for a meeting and was given the liberty to draw something with those tools you see in the picture, just took a photo with my phone once I was finished doodling...
EDIT: had to clean this photo up in gimp once I saw what an bad angle I chose for this photo, here is what is supposed to look like!...

You really have a wild wolf pack roaming near you? Whoa, that is so wonderful! Did you have any encounter with them?

Yeah, I have but I never tell their location to anyone since poaching is a big threat to wolves around here... and I actually go to meet them few times a winter, at summer they tend to move elsewhere, most of my wolf pics are taken from life reference (still bad at drawing them though!) the back has gotten bigger and has about 20 individuals now, the Alpha seems to be a light grey female with darker grey "footprint" patter on her head...

Whoa, such a huge pack, too! In Germany they usually don't get bigger than 6, just family packs. That is so wonderful! Not that I ever got to meet a wolf in the wild.
It's good that you don't tell the location to anyone. Keeps them much safer indeed. Still, how wonderful that must be! Are they very shy? |
