A classic touch on a classic scene. I do love seeing the traditional mediums used and your watercolour work is always so lovely Treefox.

Meeting Ekuar for the first time made an impression on me. So great to see this relived!

Aww, he looks so kind. Hehe. You should draw him more often! :D
That is an interesting colour scheme, with both Rayek and Ekuar in these mainly ochre-yellowish tones, the otherwise pale white/gray snow and stones, but Leetah like a spot of contrast in the middle. (Well, okay, Rayek's hair also is, but what could you do about it?)
Yes, it does look like a first time meeting between them, Rayek introducing his new old friend to her. I like this curious and intense conversation you depict between them, and that Rayek leans relaxed close by at the rocks and listens silently with a calm joy.

Aw, thank you! Yes, same as Afke, this first encounter left a big impression with me. I wanted to show that Rayek has full confidence in Ekuar and knows he doesn't need help in any way, despite Leetah's first instict to help him.
Coloring this was great fun! Used super rough, true water color paper which was not nice to sketch on, but wonderful to color.

Ahhh, Rayek looks so friendly and just jummy. What a smart look he has!
Ekuar is well captured. His nose! So nice! First I thought he's pointing to the stars and saying: Come home with us! We have a lot to do!
Not only with the wolfriders, even here Leetah is a flash of colors. Great!
The coloring on this paper looks like a sort of cold snowstorm cause it's so rough. I like it all a lot! I loved that scene in the comic and this is just a brilliant relive!

The way you do curls always looks fantastic, they're so perfect and beautiful. Your style is so distinctive, it's wonderful! Rayek looks so smug here, so proud to show off his new friend, you can really sense the relationship between the characters. The composition is great as well, I really like how you've kept the background fairly minimal and how it pulls the attention to the characters.

I love the composition! It's bold to have Leetah in the middle, as the most colorful of them all. You still managed to keep Ekuar as the most visually interesting, practically pointing towards the new adventure! You also made the background so grey but with all of those troll faces in the archway!
