Softflake

Softflake is certainly a curious case:
He was born in a wolfrider tribe (unknown) and lived there for about 2-3 years of his first life until the humans raided the holt. Instead of killing the child, the raiders decided to hand him over to a prestigious courtesan's guild (most likely as a symbolic attack against the rest of the surviving members of the tribe).
When he was old enough he was "gifted" to the prince of the south-eastern empire, whom he slowly falls for later on.
While his training did involve "favors of the flesh", he also provides entertainmant of a diffrent sort: dancing, singing, knowledge on several topics, conversing in diffrent languages, etc.
He's called Softflake due to his singing voice sounding "like the first pearls of winter, descending oh so softly in a dance-like motion onto the surface" (quote from a famous human poet)
Just a big excuse to make an Inara Serra-inspired elf (Firefly refrences through the roof!)

Well, that was actually what a true courtesan was; an entertainer and all that encompasses. That includes being able to maintain intelligent and engaging conversations as well as the arts and sex. Very nicely done, and very handsome, too! Reminds me a LITTLE of your Mender illos, but that's not a complaint. Nice legs on him! And as always, love seeing things in pencil, gives a soft look and is fun to see how others work from scratch. Sorry, never really watched Firefly so I can't comment there, but I think this is a fantastic sketch.
