Learning to howl - 2008

A random picture of Doloris, in her animal form… this is actually a part of one of my Elfquest stories… Doloris had gotten separated from the Wolfriders and ended up with the Go-backs… there she tried to learn how to howl like a wolf as she hoped someone could hear her and respond… endless nights she tried, without ever hearing a familiar voice calling out to her… maybe the sound of a fox howling was far too different or the distance too far… this did not stop her from trying…
... And Yeah! I know! I haven't added anything smart about the canon characters lately, I'm sorry about that! but I really don't have time for anything smart right now, so I'm adding old crap instead... I promise to do something better once I get the chance...

Doloris Looks cute and a bit lost and lonely somehow. Again, with a couple of strokes you evoke a feeling of a wode landscape and night scenery. I really don't know how you do that, but it looks beautiful.

I don't think I do it, it's a simple thing about letting the pen move by itself and then wondering what the result will be!...
