Bondwolf of Farscout, over at RiverTwine, for Whit!

I almost wouldn't do it, because black fur is so difficult. On the other hand it would be a nice challenge. But with everything, I shouldn't do too much of the same at once, so no more wolves for a while, haha. ;)
This one was tough; I almost couldn't see what I was doing! Colored pencils and a bit of white ink on black paper.

This must have been difficult indeed... the outcome is most awesome, though. Again, still staring at it. Your work is so masterful, Afke! Thanks for sharing.

Na, more wolf illos! They're really beautiful, all of them. You have such a gorgeous style and you capture the look so wonderfully. This is no exception. The illo, at least on my laptop, looks almost like a woodcut image, which is a compliment. I was never good at doing that. The amber-green eyes really grab one's attention, but the white highlights around the muzzle really bring a 3D quality to it. More, I say!
