Nightfall, 18 Years Later...

I've been drawing Elfquest since I discovered it, since 1991, but I don't seem to have my really old drawings anymore; the 1997 sketch of Nightfall on the left here is one of my oldest ones I still have now. And hey, it's Nightfall, the character I've drawn the most by far over the years. Hope I've progressed a ways!

Oh, wonderful progress! The first picture looks as if it was copied, because proportions seem to be off (common mistake). While the new one is definitely more your own, you were really in control of the picture there. And oh, that lovely shading.

Wow, time flies by.
 But it can be really interesting to look back and compare past and present. Either way it is a pleasureable view.
