Oh! It's Zephyr! I certainly did not expect to see him here! He certainly looks like the explorer, and I like the angle. I love the sketchy, lively inking. I see you colored him with silver hair, moss green top and blue headband, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought he'd be good in those colors! I like the background too!

This has such great energy to it! I can picture him standing on the edge of a cliff looking off into the unknown.

jaRf, there are worse things to be a spokesmodel for; makes me want to run out and buy Shiny Elf toothpaste right now!
I'm actually surprised this didn't make it into the calendar because I think it is amazing! I also love seeing characters that aren't given much time in the spotlight, and I don't recall seeing anything of him anywhere else (I could be off on this, though). He really has a strong face and intense emoton; I think you captured the look of the character and the concept of the calendar challenge extremely well. Great to see art from you again! |

Wheeee, I'm so glad you guys like my take on Zephy!
 I really wish EQ had done / will do more with this guy, he had so much potential. Just imagine what kind of precious advisor he could be to Snakeskin. Plus, he was definitely good looking! ^_^@ Startear - It was your pic that gave me the idea of the colors! For a long time I had envisioned him as a blonde (since the only colored picture of him was Cathy Purchis's attempt)... but then I saw your version and thought that the WaveDancers *could* and should use more silver hair! And blue and green is a great combo for his outfit. Moss-green to move with greatest stealth in the forest, and a nodd to his WaveDancer origins in the blue headband ^_^@ jarf - Oh yeah! Totally sounds like something Zephyr would advertise!
