Just because it had to happen, if only in fan-verse.

Haze and Farbright's spirits visiting their would-be daughters... and their very adorable granddaughter too, seems she's got both of them wrapped around her fingers already - particularly grandpa Haze  :D

That is so gorgeous! It's a lot of work to get these many characters into one picture, and it's even more work to make them look as great as this.  I love the sparkles on her tail, and the shine in their hair, and and and...

Thank you so much :) It's been ages since the last time I drew group pictures of more than two characters so it's always a fun challenge to experiment with composition and making them interact ^_^ This one was so special for me because I really wanted Korafay to know her grandparents, if only in spirit. So glad you like how it turned out! :)

I love how you keep drawing Bril's clothes as red instead of brown! It looks so much better on her, and it ties her with her twin sister very well. Your lines are so fluid and full of life! The underwater shimmer is well done too. But my favorite part of this is how Farbright is the one in the middle of the whole image!

Thank you so much Startear :) Yep, I always preferred Brill's color scheme as it was in "Turning Tide", with the coral-red counterpart to Krill's flaming red suit. I think it brings out her hair and skin much better than bronze-brown, and whenever I think of her it's that color scheme I envision (oh yeah, and ear shape too. Not that the way Wendy draws her ears is bad, but I liked that in close-up details the WD ears were originally shaped to resemble different kinds of shells - this especially true when it was Steve Blevins drawing them, other artists had an harder time nailing the design...)

And Farbright totally deserved some spotlight time, hehe ;)

Awww, very lovely! A bit sad too, I guess. But in the elven world, death isn't the end at all, as we learn more and more. This gives me warm fuzzies! Love Brill's face especially! So kind and beautiful.

Thank you so much! ^_^

@Treefox - yeah, considering who Korafay's father is, I think she would have an all special link with the spirits of the Palace and if her sending abilities are nowhere near daddy, then she could communicate with gramps as well as if they had been alive ^_^

I took pains to get Brill's expression right so I'm ultra happy you like how she turned out! :D

Oh, I really like the idea behind this!  And everyone looks gorgeous -- Brill and Krill look lovely, I really like the difference in their poses, with Brill's seeming so graceful and Krill's a bit harder-edged, which goes so well with their personalities.  Moreover, I really like what you've done with the parents' spirits; good technique!  It's cool to think that this is yet another benefit of the elves' increasing mastery of the Palace.  :)  Finally, little Khorafay is just darling!
