2007 Fan Art Calendar: JULY
Because Kimo is such a nice guy that you know his mom and Moonshade would use him as a clothes hanger. ^_^
(For those not familiar with the Blair stories, the ghost in the top left is Bowki, Dart's son from the Forever Green storylines.)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!
Nobody ever draws Dart for the calendar... people should draw more Dart images for the calendar!!! But I also love that it's most of the extended "archer" family. I always assumed that the ghost at the top was Woodlock or Wing or one of Newstar's family rather than Bowki... I never thought he was that blonde (although I'm just going off memory here). I also love that it's not a "staged" picture, there are two characters with their backs to the viewer, and it has the foreground characters framing the background action, and the fact that the blue stream guides you through the painting to the bright blue of the dress. It also amuses me that Newstar looks far sexier and appealing in the torn purple dress than she will look in this sparkly blue number. |

Oh yay! Back when I did this I often did think of you, but I never knew if you ended up seeing this picture or not.
 Bowki...I took him to be sorta blond-ish at the time, though in hindsight, he's almost strawberry blond: http://www.elfquest.com/gallery/OnlineComics/NB/NB13/DisplayNB13.html?page=13 Tho' I did take the liberty of taming down his hair. Blair made almost every frickin' elf have a massive "mane", and so I assumed that by default he had mellow-er hair.

this is both funny and calming!... poor Kimo, being used like that! well, I bet he is gotten used to it already!... fine use of color and detail, I think the background looks wonderful...
