I have been working for quite some time on a 3.5 inch version of my lady elf.  Actually I started in a bigger format, at, say; a 1/12 scale but just could not keep going for some reason yet to be determined by me.

I really expected it to go faster for a smaller armature;  it did not.  This armature took months and many tries.  And I still think I got it wrong for the generation of my Wolfrider.   I just finished an OQ height chart - which proved I was wrong - since she would be 'between'  a sixth and a tenth in height. Her height determined by wolf blood and Club rules for SweetWater.

Well this is what I do sometimes until the wee hours of the morning.  I will post more as I retake steps to get her right.  Because if the armature is wrong- it is the one thing that cannot be fixed during the sculpt.

QUESTION FOR MY CYBER-TRIBEMATES:   Would people like to see this piece as I develop it ?   (With some techno help of course)  I could start my own thread, say,  "Follow the bouncing Clay"  and do a step by step.  Heck people could even follow along if they wish - I could make it an educational tutorial.

If anyone has ever played with playdoe or a gummy eraser and has mastered  these  three shapes:  Ball, snake, snail.   Then you CAN sculpt the entire human body - NO Lie.  And  (my wrists are old and lots weaker than they used to be)  I am a pretty slow sculptor so it should be easy for the newbie to keep up.

I actually Challenge anyone to try.

Now -  growing up in an early 1930's sitcom (Grandparents raised me)  for the first  fistful  of years in my life has left me unaware of many techno advances and  current abilities.   Heck, I learned to type on a manual typewriter (not electric). I simply do not have the patience or aptitude for this computer stuff.   I suffer through it everyday just for the opportunity to be with others of like EQ or artist minds.    Therefor some patience on your part would be required.  This may take months to document and post.   Surely over 6 months to execute on my part.  But if you are IN - even as an audience - I will do it.

Well ?

I would love to join you on this! Just as an audience though. But please, show your process!
