Wheee! I drew something! I had this black and white concept in my head and just had to get it on paper. Also a good chance to use the markers from Japan that Martoo kindly send me. I cannot say that this concept works they way I had imagined, but it was still a nice experience.
I wonder if this could mean that I will draw a bit more than I did in the past years... :P

Edit: Uploades version with higher contrast according to afke's suggestion. Thanks, afke!

I hope so! I still think it looks very strong, it has a great B&W balance. You might up the contrast a little though, so the brush strokes won't be visible in the all black areas.

Yes, we would all love to see more art from you! :D I really love the pose. You getthe feeling of rage and pain held on tight reins. Also, what a lovely dress!

How beautiful!
I love the B&W Concept. Reminds me of my early school days where it has been a task for one picture. But it's ideal for Winnowill!

You got the right feeling to separate the B&W sections from each other. There ist also a touch of Art Noveau in the whole arrangement.
What I wonder about are the more shaky lines that curel out and in the Picture. It seemed do be drawn with an old fashioned drawing pen. They are not so neat and tidy than Winnowill herself. Did you do it on purpose?

I'm really happy to see you drawing again and hope you could find the time to go on with it.

:hug That's so sweet, thank you!
All lines were done with an old fashioned pen, however, the background was done with a pen with a pretty broad tip. You can see the difference in the strokes. It wasn't really done on purpose.
I hope I will have the time to fiddle around with it a bit more, but this week, actually also the next two weeks are already so filled with business trips, audits and visits...

Wow !  That FALL of hair is just beautiful.

These inks are nice and I love the look on her face.  I think you really captured Winnowill here, and she needs more fan art.

Nice to see something new from you Treefox. This is lovely. I used to like working with ink, it gives such a old comic feel. You've managed to capture the essence of the original EQ in this drawing.
