I always wondered how you clean up the "messy pencil" part with the rough lines and proportion helpers. Is a thin eraser (or eraser pen) enough? It looks like a lot of work.

Thank you for sharing this! It´s always nice to see the workflow of other artists. How many sheets of paper did this take? Did you trace the lineart from the sketch via lightbox or something?

@ jaRf   -  -    Just a standard kindergarten big pink eraser.  Not work really - it would take more  time to redraw.

@Dreamcat    -  -  Less than three sheets of paper.  The drawing (the original) is erased, taking out all the rough guidelines.  Than I take a copy and color it.  I cannot trace from a light box.  I have tried.  Something in my brain redraws every time.  The copy machine/scanner I just got last year has helped me the most in my drawings.  When I get stuck I now take a copy of what is right, and then finish the drawing on the copy.  Boy has that saved me hours of work!

I am so Old School; they need a new term for old school !
