Beautiful, and with excellent likenesses of all their faces :) especially crescent....I've tried so many times to capture her bone structure, but I never nailed it this well!

I feel I should know the fellow behind crescent, but I'm coming up short....help?

This entry is so pleasant on the eyes. Everything looks so round and the colors are do lovely. I especially like Moonshade's purple hair shade. Chitter is also spot on!
However, I also have no clue who that dude in the dream is. I hope you will enlighten us about your lovely entry.

Thanks you guys! :* To answer your question, I picked him from the Original Quest, issue 17. He's the guy playing the drums when the elves start dancing & getting to know each other.. err... better... It was rather difficult painting him (and I'm not sure I did a very good job), since I can only remember seeing him in that one panel - so I'd be quite surprised if you did recognize him :)

I can’t argue with artistic merit but for the love of all that is awesome, what is the appeal of this particular group of elves.

I’m sorry (please don't hit me) I know so many people adore them but I’ve never been much of a fan, so while I can see that this has great composition and is a solid concept I can’t get that lovey feeling that these characters evoke in all of you.

Still it’s some very nice work Larialoyla. :)

Yes - the dream of all parents - that their children would grow and have futures and families of their own.  An old dream that crosses all borders, from species to species, and galaxy to galaxy.

I like that it also looks like Crescent's siblings are sharing that dream and smiling ever so slightly.

The whole composition on this entry is crisp and clear and  I just love the bigger size of  the characters.  It gives me a feeling of being there and witnessing this scene from the inside.    *Warm and cozy in my share of the furs. Maybe dreaming  of my own happy thought ? Heh?*  Move over.

Ahah! Yes, that explains it. I always fancied the idea of a go-back as the what-if mate for Crescent, so iApprove of your choice ^_^  (And I've reread the first 4 books so many times, that even random go-backs we never got names for tend to stick in my head...doesn't surprise me that he looked familiar :P )
