Mender/Trinket oh why oh why oh why

This is all Paul Simon's fault. I listened to "Diamonds on the soles of her shoes" one too many times, now all my drawing papers are plagued by Mender/Trinket sketches.
Why can't I ship anything normal? And then Goo Goo Dolls sang "Dizzy", which was an even more perfect Mender/Trinket song, and for some reason I felt the compulsion to draw Mender in a leather jacket, because of his metal-band hair and his lack of anything involving a shirt.....
People, don't tell me about how he's recognized to someone already, one can dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaammmmm, and my dream involves lots of snarky comments between these two once Trinket is older and leather jackets. Lots and lots of leather jackets.
