Fox Hunt

I have a playlist of music marked "Elves" to get into the mood for certain characters so naturally there would be a few blood pumping tunes...
I however came across this:

And first time listening to it, I was instantly hit by inspiration and motivation to pick up a pencil.
Mind you, I haven't drawn for a WHIIILE. This is my second sketch today, the other being... Not too post-worthy.
I just really like how the pose turned out, and though the wolf body is a bit short, it came out pretty okay too.
The face could use fixing buuuut that is to be expected. I hope I can get back into the swing of things soon.
Also readjusting to the new EQ styles. I must say, these first few pages aren't striking cords yet... But I'm sure they will soon.

Ooooh! It's so dynamic and full of energy. And I like the perspective of her legs, especially. Just the way her neck is craned looks slightly off to me. The size and the expression of the wolf makes him seem like a half-grown pup. That's pretty neat!

I agree with the neck, her head should be tilted at least...
Might, I've been struggling with motivation for coloring, not for lack of trying but other things seem to call to me when I'm about an hour in. But I think I should color this one, it would look better after a few fixes. |
