Interesting! I do hope you'll tell us more about the story behind this.
So, Kahvi has been challenged more than once. That is rather believable. Really, not an easy life, is it? Love the strong colors and Kahvi actually looks pretty cute! |

Boy--that dude has a serious glare. I'm thinking one page isn't enough for this one. The cool colors really add to the chill but his red hair adds to the fire of this scene. Very nice.

I’ve never judged the calendar before but for me this was tough. Your entry was very “comic book” which was a huge part of the theme but for me this was a tad on the wordy side.
It also reminded me a bit of the time (in Hidden Years) when Kahvi returned to the Go-Back’s and Zey was in charge. I did really like how you used the panels to build up your story and the artwork was strong as well. Also I thought the vivid colors were a nice choice. I hope you’ll consider submitting something for the next fan calendar because I think you could be a serious contender. |

I never had a chance to read the Kahvi series, so for me this was new. I never really heard of Klagg apart from this site, either, so again, it's new to me. I happen to really like this one. It has a strong background sort of story feel to it and I feel I'm being very well introduced to the characters as a first time reader (especially in the case of Klagg...). I also think the colors you chose were perfect in terms of the comic book concept but also really makes the characters stand out effectively. I love the coloring you did on Klagg's eyes in the close up, and yes, that glare says it all.
