:rofl Really, I think it is about time that somebody put this scene into pictures! That you managed to do it with such few panels is amazing. Love the scenery and the expressions!
So, this is how Cutter got it 80s haircut.
Just love this! Thanks again for joining the calendar again!

Thanks!
The Idea was in my head long time before the calendar. I have to confess I was a little short of panels. Afterwards I thought the story could have been some differend if I had have more panels.

I am a huge fan of this Yavia.

I wanted it in the calendar but sadly there are votes and judging and even though I am an Admin I couldn't sway the panel...haha.

I love your work, it is always so full of fun and character and this is just another fine example.

I think you could have even gone so far as to not have any text at all. I thought the artwork was strong enough to tell the story on its own but I would have kept the “Thanks Moonshade” bubble, which made me laugh out loud for some reason.

I hope you will continue to submit your artwork to the calendar project if only so I can selfishly enjoy it. ;D

This was a runner-up for me, and a hard decision it was to exclude this from the calendar.  I love your humor, Yavia.  Your whole Haken and Timmain series from the last calendar project were just so fun and silly, they are little gems.

I don't know if it was that you felt you needed more panels, but I think this would be an even stronger piece if you bumped up the silliness a notch or two.  It really is a goofy situation and could benefit from the full force of your sense of the absurd, which you have amply demonstrated in the past.  But in any case, I really like this entry and hope to see more from you.

Thanks to you!
Off cause I will continue to submit some of my silly ideas. If that only makes your day and you just enjoy it with a loud laugh, it would be an honor for me. And that's selfish from my side because I'm happy if I could make someone happy.

I thought if I bummed up the silliness it would be no longer in canon. So my first panels to that situation didn't make it to the end ...
I also thought there can be bubbles with text in it like in a comic. But I didn't understand that there have to be no text at all to be choosen into the calendar.

Thanks so much for your words. They really make me happy.

Oh just for clarification Yavia, you were allowed to put word bubbles in your submission, I just thought (personally) that it could have been just as funny without them.

It was just such a hard decision this year choosing the 12 pieces for the calendar as there were so many wonderful entries.

Thanks again for submitting yours.
