Wow, this is so poetic and lovely. As always your art is just stunning.
And may I express that I am happy to see another traditionally colored entrance? I think that you and me are the only ones to use traditional colors this year. Beautiful way to use colors, too. Love the warm sun effects and softness of everything. And seeing Nightfall and Redlance always makes me happy. |

This is like an epic illustration for an epic fairy-tale. So richly illustrated that I'm sad it's the only page...(do I sound greedy?)
So much to like about this. The coloring, compostion, storytelling, art sytle and my favorite part....Nightfall's feet sticking out from the den-door.... |

I'm one who doesn't enjoy reading many boxes of text in comics, but here it didn't bother me at all. They conveyed the mood nicely, and they work well with the art.

I just love the old-world feel that this form of drawing portrays. All the little pieces of nature and Den make this cozy and warm. The different view points just make me envious and "greedy" for more. I feel like I am on the branch with them. Such wonder to feel Part of a story. This is memorable. Thank You FIRESTORM for sharing you talent with us @ EQFA ! and the WoTM's .

The artwork is lovely but for me there are far too many words and I think that seriously detracts from the art itself.
I'm also not sure if I would be able to tell what was happening if there were no text. I think this missed the mark as far as the theme goes but I can't argue that it is worth sifting through the text to get a good look at the delicate lines and soft colours that make up the rest of the panels. |
