Here is another beefcake for you ladies and after getting a peak at this hard wood body you know why Moonshade doesn't share.  Copic sketch markers on Canson bristol board.  Enjoy

Someone pass me a spoon and fork! Strongbow's looking awfully tasty in this, and the suggestion of his quiver (I'm already quivering!) just adds to it. Seeing him smile is a little creepy, though, but maybe he's trying his best so I'll let him have that. The only thing I could say about the illo is that the connection of his arm to his torso opposite of his quiver strap is awkward. His arm should cover that portion of his chest instead of the chest coming out over the arm. Still, who's bothering gawking at his armpit when there's so much more to drool over?

Mrowr!  The smile feels okay to me, although I think what is most surprising about his expression is the raised eyebrows.  That gives him a sort of "open" or mild expression that I don't usually associate with Strongbow -- but it does give the piece a lot more of a feeling that the viewer is in Moonshade's position.  The only thing that kind of bugs me is... maybe it's that there is so much going on around the waist, too (the straps of the loincloth and the quiver in front), but the hips wind up looking very womanly to me, rather than manly; like the flare out to the manly thighs starts too high, or something, and thus the whole area is a bit too rounded.

I agree that this seems to be from a they of somebody who knows Strongbow very well. He looks more open and vulnerable than we usually see him. And his body is nice indeed! I think the bow and the positioning of the quiver are just perfect. I agree about the points concerning his his though. I hope you will continue this series!

I tried to put a light twist into his body which gave me a bigger difficulty on the pose, when I was drawing I was mentally imagining the bow off the shoulders pulling the arms back which looks like I pulled to far back.  It's a little difficult I'm finding on the male elves, I use Wendy's art as my refs and she changes the body style through the years.  Best example (and easiest) is Cutter, in the early days his hips are near non existent the as she progresses he seams to take on a female hip flare...and he has either a flat but or near no butt.  I just have to keep the look consistant to the timeline imagery I'm working on to keep the guys looking right, yup I set the hips this time to low now that I'm looking at it better.  I went with the light smile cause I wanted him to look older and 'softer' , he was always a tough guy up till the hidden forest timeline.  I thought it would be cute like Wendy's panel of Strongbow, Moonshade and with Tyleet saying she going to sing about them at the howl of them doing it.   Having fun and getting better with every pic I post with everyones help, stay tuned cause there is more to come.
