My very favorite for the award of "Best Name". An ELFQuest Name is hard by the old rules. Richard had some amazing advice that our Club Used from the old Fandom Handbook. Circa 1990's.
This character was developed by a Woman who owned and operated a Stained Glass Shop. Since hot sand equals glass I have always admired this crossover of Fandom vs real life. It truly makes me smile every time.

Cool, you got naming advice from Richard? Anyway, Hotsand is a pretty cool name especially with the glass connection. The way she strides along with her wolf, there's something quite heroic about her. Like she's embarking on her own quest.
