Here's a character brought back to life....
This is Sheridayne. He's from a fan-fic I never finished. His tribe lives in a costal environment that is similiar to the Oregon coast in U.S. Their actual dwelling is in a great sequoia forest. Their homes look a little like the Ewok village in Star Wars.
They are a cultured and prosperous people who have made the most of their homeland. They prosper in many crafts and produce metal tools and weapons. They have either earned the respect or fear from the five-fingers that live on the fringes of their territory.
In keeping the peace or respect, they have a elite group of protectors known as the day-guard and also the night-guard. Sheridayne was the captian of the night-guard until he left on his own venture to find and hopefully unite the lost kindred of the High Ones.
Sheridayne believes that if his people are to find their place in the world of Two Moons, they must find if others of his race have survived their harsh introduction into this world and if so, unite them to establish their existance before the growing populace of the five fingered ones over-run them.
He travels the land on a beast called an Opalant. (A small horse-like creature). His journey has been initiated by his concern for his people's well-being and fueled by his past that has made him restless and removed from those he called his own.
And so on.....
I will likely do a few more pixs of him and of Talon, his Opalant. Just for the fun of it....

Oh, interesting character! To me his face looks quite androgynous with the heavy eyelashes and full lips. Quite unusual, I like it! I really, really like his clothes, the ornaments on them and the colors.

Thanks. I have two boy/men cousins who have the most awesome eyelashes.....and of course, saphire blue eyes....*sigh*
He is kinda purty...that's just how he turned out. But the character does have a sensual look to him. I love to design fun clothes. I think that's what got me into drawing fantasy characters in the first place, so I could dream up some costume for them!!! So much fun and better than sewing ('cause I'm not a seamstress....). |

He seems to have that brooding, mysterious, far-away look to him. Love the hair color, and I always like something not standard, so the slight androgynous look works for me. And I've seen guys like this, with long eyelashes and big pouty lips. Anyway, again, your style has such a wonderful animation cell/comic book cover feel to it that it's enviable. You've done a great job with the background colors that help Sheridayne stand out even more yet seem so earthy (Two Moony? Abodean?).
