I was inspired to draw this after reading the story. I did the original sketch shortly after the story came out which was March 14th, and I only just finished the image. 
I tried a ton of different things this time. Started as a two page sketch, drew the background myself, the added more highlights in their hair, and did blue tint shading. I'm really proud of myself for this one!
This is when little Rill presents the raft to his grandfather, True Edge.

I love the effect added of only showing Rill and True Edge's hand and leg on the panel to the right, it empathizes the size difference between the two.

I like the juxtaposition of the two panels. TrueEdge seems so calmly impressed on the left and Rill so hesitant and nervous to hand over his creation (or maybe have it scrutinized?).
