Well, this a super, super, super rough sketch of Maggie's character Windsong. Again, I drew this while being on hold on the telephone. I am starting to enjoy such calls...
I wasn't sure if I should upload this at all, but since I kinda like her expression, I figured to do it anyway.

Lovely profile; I'm terrible with them! I really like the softness of this infused with the stronger stray sketch lines. I hope Maggie likes it; I do!

I saw this and was like what!? Someone did a drawing of my character without permission...haha, and then I saw it was you.
 She looks great. I haven't done much with her as of yet but based on what I have planned for the character I think you captured her well. You know, I have never been surprised with a drawing before, so thank you.  I guess that explains my reaction...no one ever draws for me, so I react like an idiot and freak out…tee hee. |

@Amberfox: That is actually very interesting, because when I started to really draw, meaning more than stick figures, I found it much easier to do profiles. I guess I don't have to draw two matching eyes like in front shots. So, to this day, I still think profiles are easier to do.
@Maggie: Whoops, sorry!  I didn't mean anything bad, as probably know. I was just waiting on the phone and my hands wanted something to do. I thought of forum stuff and how much I like the way you drew Windsong's nose, so this sort of happened. But if I make full-fledged character drawings, I usually ask for permission in advance. But I am glad that you like it!

@Treefox, oh it's no problem you don't have to ask, I was just surprised.
The last time someone "surprised" me with something it was an artist I didn't know (many, many years back), coloured one of my drawings without asking and I was young and annoyed at the time...haha. Funny, he and I became pretty good friends, even though I got mad at him. I am oddly protective over my characters but anyone from here can do a drawing of them anytime they wish. Thank you again Treefox. |
