Had to tackle Crarine's drawing of Marut as well! and boy did this take time! the leaves were the worst to color, and there is some mistakes in the coloring, but I think it turned all right, it was hard, but it was fun!...

I am usually to timid to put leaf shadows on my characters. You have done a marvelous job here.

Well, I could have improved the leaf shadows a lot, now that I look at it... oh well! was worth the try... and I wanted everything to look green, because when you are in a bush or on the tree branch and the leaves cover most of the surroundings, the bright sunlight starts looking green... always loved that... didn't really capture that here though...

It's awesome.
 There's something really moody and yet also sunny about it as well, your colors really tell he looked up a shady spot.

I REALLY love the play of shadow and light that you've done as well as the dappling effect; it's perfect! It really makes him look more thoughtful, cautious, maybe even disapproving of what he sees ahead of him. Hmm, maybe something ominous?
