Yay! here it is! Treefox made this wonderful lineart of Marut.

I just had to color it! and I finally have a new computer... takes time to get used to this, the other one didn't show colors so weirdly from different angles, so let's hope it doesn't look too odd! I'm all hyped up now! I feel like the luckiest guy around because there has been so many pictures of Marut lately! thank you, thak you all!

I love the addition of his breath in the icy air. I don't think it looks odd; I think you're on the right track. I do think you could add a little more shading to the forehead and chin for depth, and maybe at the nose...hmmm...I can't quite tell what to do, but if the shading were just a little different it would really show that his nose was very wide and protruding. As it is, you have achieved that, but altering the shading just a little would make it stand out more. Good job Treefox and Berit!

Thank you! but the greatness of this is all Treefox's doing! my coloring skills ain't that good! and now that you're here, may I color that picture you drew of Terra and Marut as well? don't remember if I asked before, and as weird as it is, I remember that I colored it before, but as the old computer crashed, I lost some files... yeah, the shading is a bit off here, need to work on that, usually I have a bad habit of over shadowing everything, since I do horror stuff... but adding less shadows seems difficult for me! hahaha!...

And I tend to overshade with pen; we're in the same mindset! Honestly, I don't think you overdid the shading here at all. I think that some shading in different places or moving the edge a bit of the shadow perhaps would just make the features more intense.

Of course you may! I've been thinking of coloring it myself, but if you're in the mood and up to it, you're welcome to do so. I do have a pure outline version of that illo before I stuck in all the shading; would you like to use that instead?

well, here the shading lacks it happened just because I tried not to overshade it! hehehe! and THANK YOU for letting me color your lineart! it is an honor to color you lineart, Milady! I'd be interested in the pure outline one! I haven't seen that before!... and I might be able to use it to tone down my shading better if I trained with it!...

I will send it when I can dig it up later when I get home (at work; slow day again). You are very welcome. And never worry about overshading; I never see it that way, and I'm sure others don't as well. Plus, it's a great of learning over time what works and what doesn't. As we both do, but perhaps I need to stress it; just have fun with it. I honestly see improvement in your work and it inspires me to try and do the same...plus, you brave those unusual media and make it work for you.

thank you! I'll be waiting! well, I don't really aim for improvement, Just love to draw and test new stuff! and if it's something you can draw with, I have to try it out, and honestly, I do art with stuff that isn't even meant to be used as that way!... well, I think it's just like they say... "a child is healthy when he plays, but he is not when he can't stop"... I just can't stop drawing, no matter how I try!... I'm just one unhealthy kid!...

I must be unhealthy, too. I can't stop drawing or sketching; I drag my poor clipboard with me everywhere I go. I'll send the illo to your personal email; hope your computer is up and running long enough to get it.

Aw, thanks, also to Amberfox.
I like the way it's colored, the softer shadows seem to mirror the warm sunset light on the snow. Gosh, this has such a lovely mood now! Still at awe!

I'm just happy that I did some justice to your lineart!... and I felt like coloring something winter themed, for it saddens me that the snows are melting, and I'm losing this frozen world I love...

Yay, now this is even more like Marut! The winter theme suits the sketch really well. Well done, both of you!

Thank you, Czarine! Maybe it's a sudden and unexpected snowfall and his hair still has to come in?
