This is another entry I was very curious to see! And you did very well, indeed!
This is so soft! Nice to see some color pencil coloring. Tyldak looks gentle, slightly sad but also free. Very fitting, I think! You put a wonderful emphasis on his beautiful, big brown eyes.

Hey, that's cool! I like how his pose just sweeps around the page, like you expect it to fly off the screen any moment. And he does have beautiful big brown eyes.

I don't care he's boney but still totally sexy.

Such a tender expression he has, both on the pin-up and the portrait! I've tried my hands on drawing Tyldak twice = two epic fails. So kudos to you!

Thanks all! I'll admit, trying to make Tyldak sexy was difficult, and I think I only made it as far as 'somewhat appealing.'  I always did like the softer side of him we see with Kahvi in book 8 & Hidden Years, and tried to show that side here.  Oh, and it was done with watercolor pencils and pastel pencils on Aquabord -- a combination I do not recommend and will not be repeating :P  Learn something new with every calendar ;)

Beautiful piece...I love the sweeping lines throughout the three poses (and that you use the wings to juuuust cover the unmentionables ;) )

Really difficult character, but I think you did a great job! The portrait especially is lovely.

I love how the three version work together to form the overall composition, I think his portrait is my Fave though cause I love his thoughtful expression.

I like Tyldak and you mdae him look really beautiful. Looking at your pictures in the soft, powdery colors makes me think of a younger, happy Tayldak shortly after he has gotten his wings - and the freedom to fly. I like how you showed the delicate, shining-through quality of his wings.

Tyldak probably wasn't the easiest to get on paper (or bytes). But you got it right nice. Also a good idea with the composition to get 3 sub-images on the square space - a part I long struggled with. Transparency in classic art is also interesting to see.
Fly on birds (and elves).
