Haha, my thoughts, exactly!
Beautiful colors, setting, contrasts! Gah! Such a good idea to also show the playful, fun Ember. Those legs! Woohoo!
One of my favorite parts: her juicy lips in the portrait.

Firehair, oh so much! I love that blue lighting you've used, contrasts great with her hair and skin, and match her beautiful eyes.

What they said. And may I add: WOW! Love the red-blue contrast you've got going on here, it really brings out young "Firehair!"
And that portrait.... Those eyes...! (I know you've said you hate drawing eyes, but with results like that...are you mad, woman??? ;) )

.....where to start? The night scene is amazing. Really sets a tone. I think of this fabulous piece, I really enjoy her facial portrait because (it's beautiful--duh) and it really has a strong emotional charge about it. Not a firey passionate quality but a powerful reflective one. ;)

Aaaah, I have got an idea what she's thinking about! That's the necklace from Teir's pinup she's holding. Oh so clever to connect your entries this way!

Oh boy. Officially my favorite piece so far, and that's saying quite a lot since there's so many amazing works for 2012 already! It helps that Ember is my 2nd favorite female character. She's hotter than sittin' on a stove top turned waay up, sippin' napalm on a July afternoon!!

Oh so much lovely!  Your way with light has me so jealous, and yet I can't hate you for it 'cos your art makes me so happy!  Everything about this piece just glows, and I especially love her thoughtful, beautiful expression in the portrait.  Gorgeous!

Thanks guys! :love  The lighting scheme was one I used for one of the Wendy commission coloring jobs...I loved playing up the concept of embers and fire and was eager to more with it.  When Windrider and I were talking about taking on the 52-pinup project, I was very quick to say "OK, but I want Ember!"

Bingo! :D  Since I couldn't draw them together, I wanted to use the necklace to connect the pieces (you'll notice that in one of his he's missing it).

Yeah...but you do realize that on this pic he's missing more clothing items than just his necklace...

YAY ... firey Ember for you, Foxeye! She is actually glowing in the shine of the fire - and I love how the sparks mix with the stars.

You captured her nature perfectly - each pic standing for another facet of the young Chieftess. Youthful and carefree - so very young and delicate - for the pinup. Thoughtful and dreamy in the portrait - her gesture and the eyes mirror the longing for her new (or seemingly lost) love. The action sequence - fierce and daring ... she is flying here!

The three elements work together as a perfect whole. Stunning!
