I understand your choice for the starry brush, but personally I never liked how Wendy used that obvious Photoshop tool in the comic. I liked the wavy lines, light and colors that were supposed to make magic visable for us from the old days much more.
I do like how you've portrayed the characters though, and of course they're the main focus. :) Cutter looks very much at ease, just from the knowing.

Dude, you're really starting to master that whole thick-and-thin linework stuff.

I'm gonna have to second Afke's note on the use of the star brush though. <3
