found that red wood wood-color pencil again, I have a bad habit oh using just one color...

Marut may seem like a wuss sometimes, he is always backing down from fights, but there are moments when even he is pushed to his limits! Marut can't stand anyone hurting his friends!...

there are STILL tons of art I could upload, but I want to upload them slowly, I wouldn't want to hog the gallery front page all for myself!...

I love the colour of the tree and the background. It really gives the picture a specific feel. And the poses are great!

I never felt that Marut is a wuss! Quite the contrary!
This picture could almost be a movie still. I like the way it looks over the shoulder into the action. Also the red makes for a neat dramatic lighting.

Well, Marut is, in a way, his friends can beat him to their hearts content while he does nothing, and when the battle is for real, Marut often flees... should I say, that he is wuss when compared to a other "hero" characters... but when someone's life is at risk, he can be incredibly brave, literally, he risks life and limb to save someone... and thank you both for your wonderful comments!...
