I had just begun to get into b/w drawings and wanted to try it with some EQ art.  I hadn't seen many Ahdri pictures done so decided to draw her!  I love the flowing outfits she and Savah wear so had lots of fun with that.  I also was finally satisfied with a background I did.

I always leave it up to the viewer as to what I am trying to portray in my artwork, but this one has definitely brought forth the most questions and comments as to what is Ahdri doing.  I will let it remain a mystery ^_^

Lovely, yet rather sad illo. Poor Ahdri; she never really seemed to have her moment in the limelight before she vanished into the rock (that's the point I've read up to). Great ink work and shading, although the candle would throw off a bit more light. Still, if you're going for a particular mood and idea, it works. I think leaving the scene up to the viewer to determine is perfect (I've my own ideas!). Wonderful drawing, Branchscamper!

A candle at the window could be a hint that it is a guide for someone to arrive. I'm not sure if I read her expression as dreamy waiting or a desperate waiting... but it contains quite some emotion.
