Wait, none comments here? This is an outrage!

I like how the dark sky gently bleeds into Aroree's shoulder and hair. Everything is gorgeously colored. As for crit, I'd tentatively say that her neck looks a little too long on the headpose.

Yay, thanks! It's funny, because when I showed my calendar entries to my friends and family, usually this was the best liked piece.
I agree on the neck, but must also admit that this time, it was on purpose. Everything on Aroree is so insanely slim and long, I just had to exaggerate. ;)

Very nice, I love her feathery cape in the pin-up version and the portrait is awesome.

Ok, this is officially my new favourite among your artwork. And that's saying something. Those eyes.... so beautiful.

*glee* You made my evening, guys! Thanks! A lot of time and love was put into this. This was my first entry and I was so out of practice. Yet I had this vision in my head and struggled hard to accomplish it. So it's absolutely uplifting to hear that you like it!

Good on ya, Treefox! I love Aroree so it's a given that I would like this so much. She's beautiful. You nailed her sad-eyed look and her hair is wonderful.

I agree the hair is beautifully done; very shiny and lifelike. The facial reminds me of a 1920s style popular female image (sans heavy eyeshadow), and yeah, those Glider/High One proportions are tough to draw. Well, at least for me, anyway. What I really love about this, however, is the action shot of her. I really think you got her face, coloration, and body type down perfectly. It also flows rather nicely with the sexy pinup just above it for a smooth transition. Beautiful job, Treefox!

Yes, right! It does look like a 20s lady! Wow, I never noticed!
And I think that the action pose is my favorite from this one, too. Maybe because it's one I designed first, but drew last of the three, so I had gotten some practice until I got to draw it. :D

I sometimes have to get a better "feel" for characters before I am happy with how I draw them. I certainly know the feeling. That action pose is truly amazing!

Aroree has always represented the "Sorrow" of Blue Mountain.  I like that you captured her fierce hunting mood instead , for she had to have been a good hunter to be one of the Chosen Eight . And those eyes are really hard to draw ! You are Spot on ! !
