I agree with Razzle--adorable. If he weren't wearing shoes and his feet were fuzzy, I'd swear he could be a hobbit.

Not sure why, but the outfit seems so...modern. He does have a gentle face, and he appears rather young. I can imagine he is at that stage in life where he's just now showing interest in the more "adult" activities and exploring the world around him...although I could just be reading more into the illo than there is. It just seems to be the impression this illo gives me. Again, I like the clean, simple lines you've used so that the viewer can really see the character and just the character. His right hand looks a little larger than the left, or maybe it's the angle of his hands that make it appear that way.
