Well, I don't know what the color looked like originally of course, but this is very striking! And the chewing on a grass stem is a nice touch. It's earthy, at odds with his very above-it-all expression.

Very pop art/Andy Warhol, only better. Gorgeous face on this character, even if he is arrogant. I think it's reflected very effectively with the bent grass stem he's chewing on - he himself is bent. Don't know if that's what you were going for, but it certainly seems that way!
