Takes my breath away - so pretty!

It looks like it was painted in part on watercolor paper, was it? And then digitally finished? Or was this all digital?

It's just gorgeous!

Your picture is absolutely stunning! I remember seeing it for the first time in small size, i was charmed immediately! And now i can enjoy it in big size! Amazing picture!

Aiyy, woman, what can I say?  You are so good it hurts sometimes!  I don't quite have the right vocabulary to describe what I like about this (beyond the ZOMGCOLORS! and WHEEE!PRESERVERS and MMMCLEAVEAGE!), but oddly enough one of my favorite bits is the half-face of Adya behind her.  Was this done in honor of any particular artist or style? There's something naggingly familiar about the way he's positioned, as if I've seen it on an Elric book cover or some such, but I can't place it.

I love this; the closeness of their faces, their gentle smiles and all the colorful preservers framing the picture makes me feel so warm and welcome!

Ditto Foxeye. :)

Love how you did the Preservers' wings too.

I think I can speak for Joselle and tell you that this is totally digital.  I have GOT to find out where she gets those paper textures, though.  I might be able to stand to do CG art if I had some.

What I love about this piece is that, because of the close POV, you really feel like you are in a cotton-candy colored cloud of preservers.  You can almost hear the fluttering of wings around you.  The viewer is invited into the picture rather than just being an observer.

I always expect to see fantastic art from Joselle.  What constantly astounds me is how she can come up with awesome ideas and brilliant execution in such a short amount of time!  I am SO slow!  LOL

This is so fantastic! My jaw actually dropped when I saw the cover for this year's calendar. The intimacy in this is beautiful! The colors... the ... colors!! I love your own original and pretty version of the Preservers. And Adya (?) seemingly finding his place with Timmain herself... Gorgeous.

I loved looking at this even in the small size, and knowing that it was by you. :)  Like others, I love the color palette, and the way you've positioned us viewers as another Preserver -- that's the scale it feels like to me.  And man... the addition of that paper texture really just adds so much!  Fantastic!

Just incredibly beautiful and brilliant. It certainly makes the viewer think of when the High Ones were at peace and not struggling for their very basic survival. The coloration, rendering of characters, the overall look and feel to this - just impressive! For me personally, though, I'd want an industrial sized can of bug spray or a really big flyswatter.

The power of the colors is wonderful, crisp and clean but mixted with a soft tone, soft enough to touch.
