This is the stunning work. Bright and dynamic. Truly, this is one of the best work on EQ. It is a pity that your work is not enough. Author, draw more and more often, it's amazing and wonderful! (Sorry for my bad English.)

Thank you so very much for so many lovely things you all have said...This is the first time I have been able to get on the site for months now. We bought a condo and in the mist of remodeling it. It has eaten up every moment and chance to draw...now that we are closer to the finish line I found a scetch book of EQ art and I just had to set up a lap top to get onto this site. I am so glad I did, but more glad to know that there are tried and true fans out there who adore these wonderful creations that rise up from the inner rings of our preception of the elfquest universe. It is I, who is the thankful one!

Stunning! Wonderful inking! So detailed, yet so simple. Please, please, please do open a gallery so we get to enjoy more of your work!

Simply gorgeous. The coloration, poses, tension, use of negative space, the detailing and almost art deco style of the images coupled with a fading into vagueness - brilliant. Most impressive! More, please!
You know, at that close range, she could just stab him with her arrows. Both could do some really serious damage to each other. |

Wow. I am in awe. I love your use of negative space, as well as all the detail in both the characters and background.

This is wonderful - so dynamic! You've captured the tension between these two perfectly. And I LOVE your inking style!

Man, I love this! The energy in the poses, the interaction between the two, even the background! And I LOVE this inking style. This is just a spectacular piece. I hope you'll treat us to more in the future!

Pure dynamics! And Skyfire! Love it! Your style is brilliant!
Anatomy looks effortless as does perspective. Also I dig the hinted-at background! |

Gah, I love the way you ink! Always my weakest area, and there is sooo much in your art that I am furiously trying to absorb and learn from. And like Windrider said, I love that even though you made this your style, you were still true to the elfin proportions.

Might have been the wrong proportions for the calendar, but if this had been your only entry, we would have MADE it work!
I agree with Mouse, nice job on a threatening Two-Spear full of testosterone! Love your inking - instead of copying Wendy's style of inking, you got her character proportions correct and then inked in your own style. Works marvelously! |

Two-spear always kinda scares me, but boy does he look wicked here! I kinda like how Skyfire is looking up at him, but more in the sense of "Let's see how I can knock you down from there!"
