I just had to take part in this challenge. ^^ I had been thinking of drawing Moonshade, but couldn't really think of an interesting concept. When I found out about this challenge, I knew I wanted to remake my old drawing of her.

EDIT: oh, full view please!!

So, here she is. I altered her pose to look a bit more natural. I think her arm might hurt too much attempting the old position.. ^^; I didn't draw the line art by hand, since I don't have a scanner.  :-\ Besides, I've started using my wacom tablet much more often lately, so this is a kind of technique remake as well.

Hmm... I think I can colour a bit better than what I used to. ^^

Wow! this is just beautiful! and yeah, I think I remember you talking about drawing a new picture about Moonshade but that weren't sure what the idea in the picture would be!... I really like the pose in the new picture as well as the fact that she is more hidden... in the old she seems to be in plain sight... very nice! I'll particapate as soon as I found some of my oldest drawings!...

Oh my, she looks amazing! Her new pose is not so stiff, and those leaves seem to be really alive! And I agree with Berit, it looks like she's more in the shadows, where I imagine she would be.

Oh wonderful!  (I remember thinking that the original moonshade picture would have been more fitting with night-time or shade colors.)

I love the depth that the leaves in the new one make. I think I have this one on my Moonshade site, may I post the new version too?

Thanks everyone! ^^

Foxeye: You've got a point there... I think I didn't know how to make those night-colours, and I had so much trouble with achieving the pose, that I didn't try.. but yes, night-time colours suit Moonshade better.

Elftanner: Sure! I give you permission to crop the picture, if you want to separate the old and the new. ^^

So very Moonshade-y to be hiding in the leaves like that. Beautiful image!

BOTH pieces are stunning! I love the second one with the leaves around the picture. Makes you feel like you're there, in the bushes, peeping in. Terrific!
