Need a moment
by Foxeye
A wee gift for Icemoon's new clearbrook site. This picture is dedicated to everyone who has lost someone they love, and to that struggle to just hold yourself together and act normal.
(Also done as more practice using art markers. One lesson learned - do not try to mix different brand of markers. THey may not play nice chemically. Still so much to learn.)

Really nice! I like what you're doing with the grey markers. And they fit this subject so well. But I also like how they create a sense of moonlight.

This is Gorgeous Foxeye, One really get's the feeling of her sadness from this *heartrending* also I think you are really begining to get the hang of using the art markers this is very well rendered though I have to ask which ones didn't play nice together? Need future reference just in case I happen to get the same kind X3

Ooh, I like how you use 'm, also almost watercolor like. I love the way you did her eyes, they tell it all.

The two that didn't play nice were letraset and prismacolor. I had done it first in gray letraset, then the next day realized that I had some color prismacolors. I thought I'd add a hint of color to some areas. Ehhh...not so smart. If you look at her left shoulder, along the dark band, you can see a sort of streaky/blotchy area. Same in the dark part of her hair above that shoulder and in her headband. That splotchy texture is the result. (I then scanned it in in grayscale, since the color, in general, was not a success.)
