Two-Spear

Hmm, first time drawing Two-Spear. I like the
hairy version of him , though in this I think he resembles a bit of Bearclaw.. scary. O_o
Nevertheless, he's one of my fav characters, and I think he needs more fan art.
Sorry for being lazy with the line art, and, uh, proportions...

Wonderful picture, wonderful atmosphere...! A bit eerie, and very Two-Spear-ish! This has to be one of my favorite pictures of yours.
Oh, and I don't think he looks like Bearclaw. True, Bearclaw too could be one big, bad elf, but rarely as grim as this. Yay for fanart of lesser drawn characters!! |

He looks scary! Probably what he wants.
 He looks like he wants to kill something... or somebody.  I don't think there's anything wrong with your lineart, it suits the picture. I do believe though one of the spears is supposed to be made of metal, his "new way" spear, and only his old one is stone. |

Mirror: Thanks! Hmm, I think it's his stubbly moustache that makes me think of Bearclaw. And yes, Bearclaw looks much more a family-man than Two-Spear.

I checked the Blood of Ten Chiefs (#4), and it's very hard to tell if the humans' spears are made out of metal (they sometimes look suspiciously neat and sharp). Though on some pages, they looked like the stone-ones. But I think the humans at that time didn't know how to make metal. After all, wasn't it during Mantricker's time when elves first found the trolls?
EDIT: Ah! After further investigation, it might be that the human chief had a metallic "magic" spear.. I have to dig deeper. EDIT2: This just further confuses me.. every artist draws his spears differently.. X_x |

Two-Spear's other spear is made of metal, he took the spear from the human chief, the stone spear he carries for "what has been" and metallic for "what will be"... the fact that the spear is made of metal is written in the comic somewhere, it isn't about how the spear looks, but it certainly was mentioned somewhere... been a while since I have read it though, so I can't remember where...

 EDIT: Done! EDIT2: A weird thing: In the preview image it shows the updated picture with the metallic spear, but when I click to zoom in, it changes to the stone-spear.. Creepy. Might be my browser though. |

The opposite thing happens with me O.o In the preview it's the stone-spear, but when I zoom in it's the metal. Weird...

*laugh* It's just browser caching. Takes it a while to flush out all the previews and whatnot. Clearing your browser history would help.
In any case, impressive piece! |

Ah, so it seems. Clearing the history solved my problem.
So... clearing your browser history is an effective tool against elf magic. Maybe we could use it against Winnowill?

This is awesome! Two-Spear is my second favorite Wolfrider chief. Indeed, he needs a lot more fanart, and yours is gorgeous! I do not think that the lineart is horrible. The white glow added with the bare almost dead looking tree's is so fitting to the character and what Skyfire said would happen. Another thing I love is that you've added the different spears, with the fur around the stone spear.

I always loved this. (of course I love pictures of the older chiefs)
There's always been a sinister feeling to this picture for me. It looks cold and unwelcoming. And then there's Two-Spear. He's downright scary here. Eyes look more like that of an angry animal then an elf. When I looked at it today I actually made the picture even creepier by getting the notion that Two-Spear is walking through a time portal, into the wolfrider's present. (To beat up Ember. XD) |
