Oh neat! Behtia and our wonderful favorite hippie aunt Minayh! Wow, look at the details in this! Behtia is to me one of the prettiest Sun Villager women and that's saying a lot! She absolutely shines and sparkles here. And I have an undying love for Minyah, who I do still wish to be my aunt. Wow, the flowers and greens! The way you put in the highlights reminds me of Shoujo Manga... This is so, so beautiful!

I thought Behtia was very lovely, and a bit sad she didn't have much time in the spotlight. You really did an amazing job with her, and she looks as sweet and caring as she did in the comics. However, I have to admit Minyah steals the show for me. I think she's received even less attention, and that's a shame! I love her expression here and her clear love for both the plants and her holtmates. I can't help but wonder if Redlance didn't have a hand in all that greenery. The Sun Village never struck me as being that green or having that much foliage, but with Redlance around and Minyah's skills, I could see it happening. The green certainly serves to make the duo stand out even more, and it IS Minyah - where else would she be?

Nice to see more people using traditional media. Love your use of watercolors and the white ink. It is so detailed and elaborate, I keep finding new things to look at! =D Love Minyah, she is one of my favorite background characters in the Sun Village.

This little scene has a nice touch. I like that Minyah attaching the twig on the flower basket a lot. The green in the back makes me wonder where the forest came from, but makes them both stand out a lot. All the white lightnings are so nicely placed, like little drops of rain. Is Behtia pregnant in here? Love her dress.

Two and a lot of flowers! An oasis in the desert! And it appears to be a mixed technique, water colours for some parts of the background and something more crisp for all the flowers! Good choice! Those are some vivid coloirs and interesting mix of shapes, the very different outfis as well as all the petals. I can nearly smell the herbal scents and feel the mild warmth of the close evening.

Doesn't everyone have a soft spot for Minyah?
So happy to see her here! |
