So yeah, um spoilers.
One of the thinks I didn't get about B.B.'s work in the Hidden Years, was how he depicted the battle between the Sunvillagers and Go-Backs. This was the battle that sent Dart into a centuries long depression for being so off the wall violent. His actions in the comic were on par with Mender's who was tremendously proud of how performed. So it didn't make any sense at all. So I feel like to do the moment justice it needed more power, more mindless rage....and less pants. |

Bar Cutters feet, which totally lack anatomy.....(I usually give up and there's no form below the knees)-- I'm totally happy with this piece. It was one of the ones where I actually gave a damn about the characters looking like themselves and paid attention. This also doubled as "welcome back to the forums" after the great hack of the Scroll of Colors.

So...this one makes no sense unless you know the story behind the characters, so spoilers and stuff. Willowgreen is lifemate to the cheif, Greywolf is his best-friend. They recognized, but had to keep their recognition a secret.
I didn't really mean for this to have such a HUGE creepy, raperly-vibe, only a small one. But sometimes, when you think about it, recognition has a creepy side. You have to have sex with someone you may abhor, or you will be sick---FOREVER! I mean...that sucks. It's awesome when it works out, but it's pretty brutal for the few Elves who really, really don't want it. |

I had this idea for a loooong time, sketched it out, lost that sketch, and then just re-did the piece a year or two later. lol.
There has been debate about the inclusion of the *sob*, but Savah is so emo, and that's why God invented thumbs....so you can block out crap on artwork that you don't like. And if God actually liked me he would have given me bigger thumbs so I could actually read the comics done by Barry Blair. *cough* *cough, cough* |

This linework took FOREVER.... it was also my first foray into drawing wolves...which I feel was mostly sucessful. This was totally inspired by Wendy's illustration "True Peace". And for me, when I think of dreams, I think of what should have been, but isn't.
Oh yeah, anyone can color this.  And I promise I will color this for you guys someday. Unless I die first, and then all bets are off. |

Wing and his oh-so-tiny-hips getting his boob grab on.
This was supposed to be a far more awesome drawing...but I really had no time, so I promised myself it would be super fast, like 15 min...so it's really rough and the flower petals are a lame mass of pink. ....and Bethia has no nipples. |

Wow. Lol. I don't remember this piece being so....fluorescent. So I did this back when I hated Teir...(don't hit me)---I only hated him because I'd never read any stories about him and EVERYONE kept requesting picture of him. Seriously. It's a pain to draw a character that you have no emotional connection to. But now I like him, so life is good. I used alot of reference on Ember for this because I drew it out and it looked NOTHING like her. Wendy has a very specific (and wonderful) way of doing Elven profiles, and sadly, I draw profiles nothing like her.
Obvious use of the prompt I think. They is under the rain..... Teir is so Tarzan. |

So Kaslen IS mother nature....so it's lame and uncreative of me to do her, but that's how the cookie crumbles. This is also my personal favorite work of mine, and the first painting I did playing around with my new cintiq....which has shamefully been used to make lame icons and buttons and not nearly enough fab eq art....alas.
And for the love of God enlarge this picture...it looks sooooo much better that way. And it's HUGE! |
