I've had shorter hair for a while, so I decided to give my elf-self a makeover. Wasn't intending to do a calendar-style pinup of Yereh, but one doodle turned into two, and at that point Kael figured I might as well make it a complete set.

This is an oooold piece that I started in 2008 as a gift for Nowth from the Scroll of Colors.  I think it has a lot more potential than what I've done with it (and a lot more messiness and bad anatomy than I'd like!), but I didn't want to let it gather dust for another year!  Good enough.  

Drawing for Silentleaf of her elf-self, proving that the fruit is always juicy on the other branch.  (Her expression reminds me so much of one of my cats when I get out the bag of cat-treats that the image title was a no-brainer.)

Splotch, of course, you already know.  She's lost her ballpoint pen, and replaced it with a small exacto knife and a copic pen.

The new guy, blot ("Paint Splotch" vs "Ink Blot" is the logic) is, of course, the storyteller.

For her half of an art trade, Icebird requested either Longfin or Irralee.  I decided I wanted to illustrate a scene from the Wavedancer's Lost Tales where Longfin swims her nearly-dead son back to the shore.

I have been working on a drawing of Longfin for Icemoon, but when I saw her new Tide, I was inspired to use that character for marker practice.  Touched up in Photoshop because several times I grabbed the dark blue marker instead of the pale blue. I'm too impatient. *sigh*

My second attempt at prismacolors, armed with a newly-acquired green! marker.  Stilll didn't have the right colors for Tyleet, but we never did see the colors of this outfit from the Recognition story, so, um, call it artistic license.

*sigh* I don't know if I'll ever finish this drawing of Nightfall and Redlance, but the sad thing is that this little WIP is one of the best things I've ever done as fan art for EQ. Keeping it here to remind me to finish this one day.

I love the obscure characters of EQ, the unnamed crowds whose stories we never learn. This character, Windstone, did actually get to have a name. She appeared in the Forevergreen storyline, a sun villager who is also a warrior, so presumably she had been trained by Dart at some point.
