Stealth lessons

I found some more old pictures I want to place here. This one was for Zonnemeer Borg, done with graphite pencil.
Young Bliksem getting lessons in being stealthy from my chief Roodklauw.

As tennisplayers work great for swordfighters, skaters' poses are good for stalking elves. I quite like the whole drawing, except for Roodklauw's swordarm. It just... doesn't look right.

The poses sure look real! I really like it! I wish I had the patience to draw realistic poses!... I also love the play with light and shadow here, gives nice dimension to the art... and the expressions are wonderful too!... and the sword... I think it looks a tad too heavy, pointed down too much with the angle with the elbow... it's annoying if thing like that just doesn't go right! I know! well at least the weapon has weight! too often I see weapons that look weightless... that sword look like it would cut flesh nicely due to the weight!...

I loved that graphite pencil, I should look it up again!
